Assistant Golf Professional
Resort in Graford, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Golf Professional reports to the Head Golf Professional; and agrees that he or she will render services and perform the duties customarily provided by an Assistant Golf Professional.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist the Head Golf Professional with his daily responsibilities as necessary.
• Assist in hiring and training of all service staff personnel.
• Manage all golf shop counter and tee sheet operations.
• Manage all golf service staff in an effort to maintain excellent service, proper practice facility operations and proper golf car operations.
• Assist in enforcing the rules of the resort.
• Assume the responsibility of the golf operations in the Head Professionals absence.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by resort management.
• Building relationships by regularly playing golf with and giving lessons to all segments.
• Oversee the Summer Junior Programs.
• Assist with Tournament/Events/Outing operations.
• Behaves in a professional manner at all times, representing in such a manner as to enhance their reputations.
• Recognizes that “Safety is a Value”, and that all job duties are performed safely and effectively in all areas of responsibility.
• Upholds quality and productivity standards and maintains professional interaction with customers and employees.
• Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly, to eliminate service interruptions.
• Communicate closely with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Enforces all government, client and Double Diamond corporate requirements.

Requirements:
Ideal candidate should be aspiring to have a career in the golf and hospitality industry diligently working to become a class A PGA Professional.
PGA Associate in good standing making progress toward PGA Membership is preferred.
Any Class A member with on course experience is preferred.
High degree of communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:
$30,000.00 – $35,000.00 per year.
