Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Deal, New Jersey is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Interns will be exposed to all aspects of golf course maintenance at championship quality conditions. Upon conclusion of the summer, interns will have gained the knowledge and experience necessary to move on as AIT’s or Assistants. Interns will work alternating weekends during the playing season. Internship duration is flexible to work with class schedule.

Interns will play a vital role in the following maintenance practices:
• Mowing of every playing surface.
• Course prep and setup.
• Chemical and Fertilizer application on every playing surface.
• Manage an effective IPM program.
• Daily crew preparations and management.
• Drainage installation.
• Irrigation installation and troubleshooting.
• Stringent water management.
• Equipment operation on all machinery.

Requirements:
Pursuing degree in Turfgrass Science or related major.
Experience is not required but helpful.

Compensation:
$15 per hour.
On site housing with Wi-Fi, uniforms, lunches, golf privileges, and tournament volunteer experience.
