Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Estero, Florida is looking for a Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position also assists with supervision of outside staff and must be willing to pitch in wherever needed when necessary. The selected candidate will assist in the facilitation of regular daily golf facility activities, including member and guest registration, tee sheet management, inventory control, instructional programs; Executes opening and closing procedures, participates in marketing of the club and its membership programs to guests and outing participants. Assist in coordination of a range of activities designed to promote and encourage golf course play and a greater understanding of the game. Provides lessons to as availability allows by way of clinics and private instruction under the direction of the Director of Golf. Assumes additional responsibilities in absence of the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional. Performs related duties as required.

Requirements:
This successful candidate must possess excellent customer service skills as well as experience in conducting small and large tournaments, knowledge of golf software Northstar as well as GHIN and Golf Genius.
Teaching skills are important in being able to lead clinics and private instruction with members and their guests.
High School diploma or GED with specialized training (PGA or LPGA) in the game of golf and at least three years of directly related experience in golf and retail operations in a golf shop setting, preferably at a private club.
Valid driver’s license.
PGA or LPGA, Class “A” certification or registered in the PGA PGM or LPGA Program actively moving towards Class A.
Must be willing and able to work with outside employees on the continuous improvement of member services.
