Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Mesa, Arizona is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position reports directly to the General Manager/Head Golf Professional and will assist with the day-to-day activities within the golf operation.

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain a positive and enthusiastic interaction with the guests and staff.
• Assist General Manager/Head Golf Professional to supervise, direct and lead golf operations staff.
• Assist the General Manager/Head Golf Professional in conducting well organized golf events for the guests.
• Be available to teach the game of golf and run organized clinics to include successful junior golf programs and new player development initiatives.
• Assist in golf shop accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Assist guests as they check in for their tee times and maintain a properly functioning tee sheet at all times.
• Support the General Manager/Head Golf Professional and the Merchandiser with daily and monthly merchandising needs.
o Complete product knowledge.
o Ordering, receiving and displaying merchandise.
o Maintaining proper inventory levels.
o Maintain the golf shop in a neat, clean and orderly manner at all times.
o Assist in conducting monthly inventories.
• Experience in EZ-Links reservation programs preferred but not required.
• Must have good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts (opening/closing, etc.)
• Must be able to follow all procedures and policies as set forth by the General Manager/Head Golf Professional.
• Must be a specialist with internal and external customer service and be a leader in total customer satisfaction.
• Perform all other duties deemed reasonable and necessary as requested by the General Manager/Head Golf Professional.

Requirements:
Excellent people skills.
High School diploma.
Completed level 1 PGA certification.
Proficiency with computers and repetitive motion related to data entry.
Must have accurate math skills.
Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner.
