2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Peabody, Massachusetts is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Second assistant will be part of the management team in order to plan, direct, supervise and inspect all aspects of golf course maintenance.

Second Assistant responsibilities will include:
• Golf course set up and tournament preparation.
• Apply all pesticide and fertilizer applications.
• Maintain proper and complete records and schedules.
• Participate in daily supervision of mowing, and bunker maintenance.
• Irrigation and drainage installation, troubleshooting and repair.
• Crew leadership.
• Water management on greens, tees, fairways, and rough.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, reliable and willing to work.
Must have a strong attention to detail and be passionate about the golf course maintenance industry.
Must have or be able to obtain a Massachusetts Pesticide license.
Minimum 2-3 years of Turfgrass experience.
Positive Attitude.
Willing to be part of a team and learn.
Detail oriented.
Strong work ethnic.
Motivation to advance in the golf course industry.

Compensation:
$55,00 – $60,000 per year.
Vacation, health insurance, dental, 401K, uniform, golfing privileges, meals, and local/national association dues paid.
