Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club is looking for a Jackson, Wyoming is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Interns, under the supervision of the assistant superintendent, perform and lead the grounds crew with the tasks involved in golf course maintenance; learn semi-skilled construction and maintenance work; operate small hand-powered equipment; and perform work involving large equipment such as tractors, sprayers, loaders and mowers. Each Intern may be have a project associated with their internship and will work closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent to ensure this is complete to the satisfaction of the intern’s respective institution.

Requirements:
Enrolled in a 2 year, 4 year, or certificate program in Golf Course Management, Turf Management, Agronomy, Horticulture or closely related field.
Physical strength, stamina and agility.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivation and ability to work well with others will benefit a person in this position.
Must possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Preferred:
Previous work experience in landscape or golf course maintenance capacity.
Working knowledge of and ability to properly use hand tools, power tools and mowing equipment.
