Summer Golf Course Intern
Country Club in Rumford, Rhode Island is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
As a member of the team you will play an intricate role in managing tournament type conditions on a daily basis. Whether you have multiple years of experience or just getting started, we will tailor your responsibilities to get the most out of your internship. Your internship will be a daily learning experience; questions and discussions about agronomic, cultural, and management practices are encouraged. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited too; mowing of all surfaces, fertilizer and chemical calibration and application, water management, including hand watering greens, irrigation repair and troubleshooting, equipment operation, and crew management.

Requirements:
Enrolled in or looking to enroll in a turf program.
Previous golf course experience is preferred but willing to teach an intern with no experience who is eager to learn and carries a positive attitude.
Interns are expected to work 45-65 hours a week, work every other weekend, be eager and willing to learn, energetic and motivated.

Compensation:
$14 per hour.
Potential for full-time employment upon graduation.
