Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Advance, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The ideal person will be highly motivated, self driven, detail oriented, and capable of managing a staff of 12-15 people.

Job duties will include:
• Moisture management of Bentgrass putting greens.
• Calibrating equipment and applying various chemicals and fertilizers.
• Familiarity with Toro Lynx and OSMAC programs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and conduct irrigation repairs.
• Operating various pieces of equipment as demanded by course conditions and staff availability.
• Assigning staff members daily duties, monitoring their performance, and upholding a culture of accountability.
• Training members on the safe use and care of equipment.

Requirements:
Candidates will hold at least a 2 year turf degree or one in a similar field. However, strong experience with good references will be considered.
Certified NC Pesticide Applicator, or ability to obtain licensing upon hiring.
Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of golf course maintenance experience, with time spent as an AIT or Assistant Superintendent.

Compensation:
$35,000 per year.
