2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in East Aurora, New York is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The Assistant will work closely with the Superintendent and other assistant to plan, direct and monitor all aspects of maintenance of the golf course. Responsibilities include supervisory tasks, record keeping, crew management, calibration, chemical applications, irrigation troubleshooting, water management and cultural practices. The assistant will be asked to attend weekly management meetings and monthly greens committee meeting to provide input and gain experience in member relations. Candidates will have a monthly sit down with Superintendent to discuss their goals and progression to ensure they are reaching their full potential. He/she will be relied on heavily to motivate, train and set the standard for the rest of the department. Requirements:
2 or 4 year degree/certificate in turf management or related field.

Compensation:
$52,000 – $55,000 per year.
