Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Ligonier, Pennsylvania is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate would be one who is looking to eventually become a golf course superintendent. Interns will work hand in hand with the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents to provide championship level playing conditions.

Position Responsibilities:
o Proper Calibration of Sprayers and Fertilizer Spreaders.
o Proper Plant Protectant Application.
o Water Management.
o Equipment Operation.
o Course Setup.
o Irrigation Maintenance.
o Cultural Practices (aerification, topdressing, etc.).
o Lead Small Crews.

Requirements:
Currently enrolled or planning to enroll in 2 or 4 year turfgrass management program.
Experience preferred but not required; willing to train the right individual.

Compensation:
$10 – $12 per hour.
Housing available.
$1,000 Signing Bonus.

Upon completion of successful internship golf course superintendent will give strong recommendation to other top clubs.
