Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Seminole, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Professional will assist the Head Golf Professional in all daily operations of the Golf Shop.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Golf shop sales and merchandising, golf club fittings, golf club repair, golf shop cleanliness, inventory control, handicap system management, tournament operations, golf car maintenance, driving range management, junior golf programs, lessons, group clinics, snack bar inventory control and membership control.
• Promote the game of golf.
• Assist in the administration of the Junior Golf Programs.
• Play golf with Gaines County members.
• Promote golf tournament participation.
• Assist and support outside service team members in providing an exceptional golf experience.
• Coordinate and communicate with all members of golf staff.
• Select/train/oversee training of golf operation staff members in all areas, including policy, procedures, and service application with Head Professional.
• Interprets and enforces the golf rules and regulations with guidance from the Head Professional.
• Interprets and enforces Gaines County Golf Course rules and policies.
• Oversee all daily credit card and member account charges, The Golf System updates and correct charges.
• Assist the Head Golf Professional with the management of the entire golf operation on a daily basis.
• Assist the Head Golf Professional with the management and direction of all tournament operations.
• Assist the Head Golf Professional with the merchandising.
• Provide club fitting sessions, using all of the fitting systems, for the membership.
• Provide club repair functions for the membership.
• Oversee the return of defective hard goods, such as broken shafts, re-chroming jobs, torn golf bags, damaged club heads, etc.
• Keep pro shop neat, organized and clean.
• Maintain the appropriate inventory levels of all retail merchandise.
• Change displays weekly, rotating old stock with new.
• Place special orders and keep buyer informed of status of order.
• Keep active inventory counts of all hard and soft goods merchandise in the shop.
• Assist with demo clubs for members.
• Perform golf handicap maintenance functions.
• Assist members with the booking of tee times.

Compensation:
$30,000.00 – $35,000.00 per year.
