Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Boston, Massachusetts is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Job Description:
• Apply the skills and knowledge learned in school to help research, design and develop plant health and moisture analytics based off aerial imagery collected by autonomous drones.
• Assist in the collection and classification of a large variety of turf and weed species for use in the development of machine learning / image processing identification techniques. This may involve travelling throughout the US.
• Review daily customer imagery and scout for potential problems.
• Assist in Greensight-contracted turfgrass research.

Requirements:
Must be enrolled in a Turfgrass Management program and entering at least the 2nd year of the program in the fall of 2018.
At least one season of work on a golf course preferred but not required.
Must have a desire to learn about and participate in the development of new technologies that assist the turfgrass professional.
Must possess intermediate computer skills and have experience working with Google Docs and Google Spreadsheets.

Compensation:
$17 per hour.
