Golf Guest Service Professional
Country Club in Ocala, Florida is looking for a Golf Guest Service Professional.

Position Overview:
As a member of the guest service team the Guest Service Professional is responsible for acquiring and implementing the skills and language programs as provided for by the Resort & Golf, to assure exceptional, first class service for our guests. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

The Guest Service Professional performs the daily activities as directed by the Guest Service Supervisor/Manager.

The Guest Service Professional should inspire motivation and animation while performing the following positions:
Equipment Drop Attendant.
Equipment Runner.
Practice Facility Host.
First Tee Host.
Player Assistant.

Secondary Duties can involve those functions of a Guest Service Assistant when required.
The Guest Service Professional will carry out all of his/her responsibilities in accordance with the Resort & Golf policies and procedures.
The Guest Service Professional will accept responsibility for personal decisions and actions.
The Guest Service Professional will perform all of his/her duties in compliance with the Resort & Golf Safety Committee regulations, as regards his/her own welfare as well as that of his/her team members and all property guests.
The Guest Service Professional will be available to work his/her required shifts as needed by the golf reservation requirements with exceptions granted only by supervisory personnel as deemed possible.
The guest Service Professional will be proactive in meeting and exceeding guest’s expectations, responding decisively to resolve challenges.
The Guest Service Professional should participate in the spontaneous recognition of fellow team members.
It is the responsibility of the Guest Service Professional to maintain effective communication between all staff members in regards to course operations and human resource issues. Communicating the core values and mission of the company is vital to the achievement of company goals.
The Guest Service Professional is challenged and urged to suggest possible improvements to existing procedures through the proper channels afforded by the Resort & Golf.
The Guest Service Professional will effectively communicate all pertinent information amongst his/her team members and supervisory staff in regards to daily operations.

Requirements:
Able to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments.
Must be change adaptive, flexible, and empathetic.
Must be highly customer oriented and responsive with a high need for closure.
Demonstrated initiative – ability to think, work, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment.
Ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments to meet deadlines.
Strong team-building skills including the ability to lead, cooperate, motivate, and contribute as part of a team with representatives from multiple disciplines.
Must be willing to “roll-up” sleeves and dig in with staff to drive processes that support the business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.
Must be able to consistently achieve high work standards; attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness a must.

Knowledge/Skills:
High school diploma or G.E.D. or two years experience in similar customer service environment.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, team members, or supervisory personnel.
Ability to legibly write names of guests and type out on keyboard.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions as to course of action.
